Systems Integration/IT Tech Level I

• Access control, camera systems, and security integration programming
• AV system programming, including networks for AV clients
• Implementation, client training, and support of hosted PBX phone systems
• Labels, configures, loads manufacture software, and tests all IT components and network connected devices prior to system installation
• Service calls: network and end-user device troubleshooting and training
• Acts as technical support backup and provides escalated troubleshooting for technicians working with clients
• Sets up and performs remote management and phone support for technicians and end-users
• Helps with drafting of drawings including but not limited to initial sketches for proposals, designs for production, floor plans, block diagrams, point to point, load schedules, details for installation, and as-built documentation for job completion
• Works with the project installation team and the Project Manager at the time of startup to ensure all aspects of the system are working, tested, documented, and reporting properly
• Supports office IT needs
• Completes other tasks as requested by the owner

Minimum of high school education or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. 
Experience or education must include working with computers at the systems level with implementation and configuration of IT technology.
Knowledge of a wide range of software including core competencies in the installation and maintenance of Microsoft and Apple operating systems (mobile, desktop, and server versions), Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Knowledge of networking protocols, specifically TCP/IP. Experience with basic router, switch, and WAP configuration. network segmentation, VLAN's, subnetting, and firewall implementation.
Must recognize the dynamic nature of technology and software, acquire new skill sets as necessary, be a forward-thinking individual with strong problem solving and decision making skills, and demonstrate flexibility and self-motivation.
Effective at communicating with co-workers, both verbally and in writing.
Must be self-directed, organized, accountable, and able to prioritize, track, and report on projects and tasks. Attention to follow-through.
Demonstrate commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and exceptional customer service.
Industry certifications and/or experience in residential and/or commercial A/V, commercial data infrastructure, door access, IP cameras, and security and fire systems preferred. Fiber, cable, or phone plant experience is a bonus. Working knowledge of Lenel, Crestron, Control4, and/or other similar systems is desirable.
Will train on AV system programming and installation.
Use of Viso and/or CAD, drafting techniques, experience with Microsoft Exchange, SQL, or other databases, is a bonus.
Limited Energy Specialty Electrician license, certifications, or manufacturer training certificates relating to any of the above are desired.
Must be willing to travel on occasion both in and out of the State of Idaho for work.
Must work well with persons of varied racial/cultural, socioeconomic background.
